Aloha Everyone,
Thank you for all your prayers for me and my family over the last two weeks while recuperating from this surgery. And thanks to Coach Ken, Coach Jimmy, Coach Travis, Lita, Ulu, JoAnn and the whole gang for keeping our Rec Ohana safe and happy on the water.
There is a verse I want to share that speaks of God’s protection and love. It’s a representation of how our Mothers have cared for us over all the years…of her protection and love. Of how through all the circumstances of life that were thrown in her path, that she will never forsake us no matter what we do.
“He shall feed His flock like a shepherd, He shall gather the lambs in His arms, and carry them in His bosom and shall gently lead those who have their young.” Is 40:11
Dear Mom,
I am praying to the Lord
That He will bless your day
And that you’d find quietness
When to Him you pray
I pray you’d know how much you’ve meant
To me through all the years
For you have been there on your knees
Sometimes with bitter tears
God has seen your Mother’s heart
And answered your heart’s pleas
And Mom - because of your strong faith
I also now believe…
