It was a great April Brunch On The Beach and Maria was so blessed by those who came and brought food and scripture cards, gifts, a special cake, and a special plaque, and lei. We paddled, laughed, and carried on as we normally do at Rec, but we all got to hear from Maria, her special words, and spent that day making memories with her.
Maria leaves Wednesday, April 8th, so please lift up a prayer for her safe flight to California. Some of you know, it is never easy to leave behind a place that has become dear to your heart, nor its people that you have come to love. Hope that makes sense. I don't know half the time what I'm trying to say, but I do pray for her final step on that plane (as a new chapter begins). ;)
