What a wonderful turnout this past Saturday, Feb. 28th.
Elbow grease everywhere!
Much Mahalo to our Sandwich Station ladies
workin' out slappin' them breads and delis together!
We sure had fun watching Coach Ken handle the tomatoes!
We loved his technique ~ say, "BAM!"
Canoe maintenance & rigging continued as NHCCM Leaders
Charlie Thurston & Coaches Blaine Gaison, Cy Kalama, and Kimo Taylor,
were present and oversaw the work.
Coach Aka Hemmings' steering class was up and runnin'
and the wind sure helped with training =).
A couple rec paddlers took a "boat" out, once or twice, and got some paddling in.
We enjoyed watching one-man, two-men, and kayak racers
coming in from Diamond Head.
What else can I tell ya'?
It was a simple Saturday
,but the beach & water buzzed with activities!
A great way to wrap up the off-season of Rec paddling.
