Hi folks. How's the turkey and stuffins? We went to see Lion King and it was nice. But a funny thing happened, which usually is the case when I am around these children. About the third or fourth scene into the play, Samuel decided to voice his opinion that the show was "boring," and let me tell you, he was not whispering when he said that. I did what any sane mother would do, and I quickly covered his mouth before anything else came out of it. The good news is, he endured the rest of the play and got to see some pretty interesting sights which totally changed his view. In the end, I was relieved to hear him explain, "I was kinda getting bored with the show, but then I got into it." Good thing. Now if only I can predict these sudden outbursts before they happen. What mother wouldn't want that? =)
A few reminders: If you are not already on the Birthday List that we are updating, please email me or one of the Admin. ladies (Maria or Mrs. Coach), to give us your info.
And for those of you who want to get a head-start on our Exercise Endeavor, please email me. I am yearning to walk the beach grounds at Sand Island. Let me know. Some have expressed being available and willing to do this before Jan. 1st. Send me a note.
Lots of thanks,
"k-k"
