Aloha
This is a friendly, early morning (crack-of-dawn) reminder, if you can be at Sand Island at 7:AM this Saturday, Oct. 20th. Things are going to happen fast and furious - construction equipment moving sand, planting new grass, installing new sprinkler system, weeding, cleaning the beach - PLUS, polishing canoes and sanding paddles. LOTS OF STUFF HAPPENING!
I volunteered our Rec Ohana to take care of lunch - hot dogs and hamburgers...
We don't need buns (from last BOTB)
We need hot dog and a box of burgers from Costco
We need condiments, veggies for the hamburgers
We need some fruit - pasteries
That should do it...!
We will paddle if the work is all pau!
Three areas that still need volunteers for Saturday, Oct. 27th;
HOSPITALITY at Canoe Site
MANGROVE CLEANING on Mokauea
OFF LOADING at Sand Island boat ramp
Please see Laurie's attached newspaper release and Charlie Thurstons letter (in your emails). This clean-up has been on KHON TV, the Star Bulletin and radio...it's going to be HUGE!
God Bless You
Coach Kimo
